quick protein smoothie bowl

PREP TIME: 5 minutes

YIELDS: 1 serving, double/triple serving for more

1 banana 
1 cup mixed frozen berries 
½ cup dairy-free milk 
Protein powder – if desired

Add banana and frozen berries to a blender. Blend on low. Add non-dairy milk and protein powder. Blend again on low. What you’re trying to create is a creamy ‘soft serve ice cream’ look. If too dense, add a touch more milk. Pour and scrape this goodness into your bowl of choice and my favourite part, top with whatever nutritious toppings you have on hand like fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, coconut flakes etc. Enjoy for breakfast or as a satiating snack – a great way to keep your blood sugar levels balanced so that your body won’t crave junk throughout the day.
